WHAT WE DO

Additional Activities for Young People

We are always looking at ways of working with other young people in the Village who might not want to come to the Youth Club sessions. We are very grateful to Hampshire County Council's Local Network Fund for funding us last year to respond to requests and needs we had identified by offering courses and workshops in developing the following skills :

  • Contemporary Dance
  • Cookery
  • Craft Activities
  • Drama
  • Hair and Make Up
  • Technical Theatre including lighting & sound
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Photoshop

Games and activities are  organised but the main object is just for us all to meet up and have fun.

Youth Band Nights
A chance for young people to perform in front of a live audience - occasional Saturday evenings 7.30 to 9.30 pm
Admission is by ticket only £1.00

Youth Band Nights are going to take place on the second Saturday of each month from September 2010

Please let us know if there are other activities or courses you would like us to run and we'll do our best to make it happen!

A recent evening was based around a cookery demonstration where everyone was invited to try their hand at preparing ingredients for a meal.
