Milford on Sea Village Youth Club

WHERE WE MEET | WHAT WE DO | COMMUNITY CENTRE

We meet on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm at our club house which is in the car park in Sea Road. Our members have to be 12 years or older - at the moment most of the members are aged from 12 - 14.

We'd really like to also meet on another evening for older kids - and we've got funding to train to qualify as a leader for anyone aged 18 - 25.

Milford on Sea Youth Club is sponsored by the Parish Council, enabling us to contract the Forest Bus to run the sessions for us.

Forest Bus is the region's own and very popular peripatetic Youth Club, which brings the skill and training of professional youth workers to the villages around the New Forest.

Hi -- welcome to the Milford on Sea Youth Club pages. If you like the look of our pictures please come along and join in the activities at the club.

During the last week in June the youngsters were able to use the Centre and they really enjoyed it. A BBQ had been planned as a good bye party for Sarah, a long standing youth worker.

Zena made a cake, and asked if I would help in the kitchen so that the youngsters could cook and prepare all the food. Six youngster under Zena's instructions really enjoyed working in the kitchen, although it was so hot in their with all the cooking.

Our activities include table tennis, table football, WII games, arts and crafts, cookery, computers & film shows.

Hope to see you there!

The BBQ was provided by the Forest Bus, and a really good time was had by all.
We had the computers on and the youngsters were working on some posters, one of those evenings when all went well.

There was also the Festival meeting going on in the Hall, and I'm pleased to say that James felt the youngsters did not cause too much disturbance. They loved it. I thought you would all like to see the photos.

The chap with the beard and the white apron is Shuv, who works for the Forest Bus and runs the sessions.
